
Andrea began dancing at a young age with her local performing arts school, learning tap, jazz, modern and hip-hop. Later she attended Parnell School of Music & Performing Arts, focusing on hip-hop dance performance and taking part in the annual showcases at The Rupert Guinness Theatre. Later, Andrea was responsible for choreographing the showcase. Whilst attending Parnell School of Music & Performing Arts, Andrea was invited to be part of Phoenix Dance Crew; the crew continued to win many titles including the All Ireland Hip Hop Championships.
Andrea trained as a professional performer with the acclaimed Bull Alley School Of Performing Arts. She was awarded lead roles in many class productions such as She Stoops to Conquer, Faust and Hamlet. Andrea was dance captain for two years running in the college productions of West Side Story and City of Angels. She continued to study dance full-time at Sallynoggin College, studying advance level ballet and contemporary, commercial jazz, hip-hop and musical theatre.
For the past eight years, Andrea has been the main choreographer at the Acting Academy. She is well known for her original ideas and mixing her own progressive beats.
She loves working with children and watching them develop during the course.
